Delegates to Y’s Men Conventions undoubtedly bring home indelible memories of the great fellowship they enjoyed with friends and fellow Y’s Men from the International community. It is with great enthusiasm that I invite you to join us for the 31st Asia Pacific Area Convention in the beautiful city of Kumamoto, Japan, from 1-3 August 2025. Under the inspiring theme, “For Greater Joy,” this convention will be an excellent opportunity for members from the 14 countries under the umbrella of the Asia Pacific Area to reconnect, share ideas, and strengthen our bonds of friendship as we work together to create a meaningful impact in our communities. Kumamoto, with its rich history, natural beauty, and warm hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for this memorable gathering. Your participation is vital as we celebrate our shared mission and explore ways to spread greater joy through service and fellowship. Together, we can make this event a resounding success and a source of inspiration for all. Mark your calendars. I look forward to welcoming you in to Kumamoto for an unforgettable experience!
The Asia Pacific Area Convention and Youth Convocation are important biennial events in our movement. They not only reunite Y’s Men from various countries within the Area and other countries but also provide a good occasion to inspire everyone to show more solidarity in their contribution to Y’s Men International. The preparation work for a convention is not easy. The Host Committee and I personally experienced the extreme hard work in AC 2023. Therefore, I very much appreciate the tireless effort and selfless dedication of the Host Committee 2025. As the President of the Asia Pacific Area, I appeal to all Y’s Men to register for Kumamoto AC 2025 as soon as possible so as not to miss this great opportunity. The theme of Kumamoto AC is “For Greater Joy.” I believe the convention will surely bring you much joy and leave you an unforgettable memory

The 31st Asia Pacific Area Convention and the Asia Pacific Area Youth Convention will be an excellent opportunity for Y’s Men and Youth from all over our Area to interact. Y’s Men and Y’s Menettes of Japan West and East Regions, and Kumamoto YMCA staff and students, will welcome you with the best hospitality. You will find greater joy and pride in the work of Y’s Men and YMCA as you will learn about the contributions that Y’s Men make to the community and the world. I look forward to seeing you all in Kumamoto.
Since the day we bid for this convention and it was approved, we have been preparing with the guidance of many seniors and the help of our fellows. The final outcome is up to everyone who participates. What will you seek, what will you share, and what will you take away with you? Without a doubt, the convention will be a success.
See you at the convention venue for even greater joy
